The Bailey'S Hotel London Kensington, London

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms could have been cleaner and more prepared upon my arrival at 7 pm, but they did look up to date and faced the street. The service was a bit lacking in terms of guidance and friendliness initially, but the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful once engaged. The location was superb, right in front of the Gloucester Road tube station, making it convenient to explore London. The dining options were a bit disappointing in terms of variety and quality. Despite some shortcomings, the overall stay was decent.

Our stay was a delightful mix of positives and drawbacks. Our room was lovely and spacious, boasting elegant decorations with thoughtful touches, although the noise from nearby aircon units was a downside. The service was good overall, with a helpful but young staff. The location was superb, conveniently situated near the tube station and other amenities, though the check-out experience left a bitter taste. The dining experience was satisfactory but could benefit from a more varied continental selection.

The hotel rooms are furnished in traditional English style, clean, and comfortable with lots of light, and the staff is friendly. However, the lingering smell of cooking or garlic was a downside during the night.

The hotel is in a prime location near Gloucester Rd tube station, with a lovely downstairs area and good breakfast options. The rooms are of a good standard, but mine wasn't ready upon arrival. The service was attentive, with comfortable room amenities and small fridge. Unfortunately, the standard reply seemed to be 'No' for most requests. The dining area experience during breakfast was satisfying, and the hotel is conveniently situated for easy access to the city and transportation to Heathrow.

I found the hotel to be a lovely choice for a stay. The rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully, providing a peaceful retreat away from the city noise. Although there wasn't a lift, the amenities and modern bathroom, including a powerful shower, made up for it. The service was top-notch, with an extremely pleasant and helpful staff, even though there was a slight delay for some services. The location was ideal, right by the Gloucester Road tube station, perfect for exploring museums and shops. The dining experience was decent, albeit a bit chaotic at times, and the facilities were satisfactory.
